It cannot be talked about in one sitting. Here are five important things to remember for photographers—especially those aspiring onesor who are into portrait photography :
1. Work on the Theme. Yes, a concept for your photographs is best thought of before anything else. If it is a wedding, many brides would love to view candid shots and black-and-whites. If it is a birthday party, a vivid, colourful picture! Themes for glamour photos may also be different, as it depends on publisher’s wish. The four seasons may also be used as a theme or concept, depending on which season it is. There is a wide-range theme or concept to use.
2. Have a Unique Photography Style. Your style should reflect your own being. A known photographer is recognized by its photography style. This is essential to photographer because lots of styles are already worn out. Modify other’s style but do not copy. Experimentation is the best solution.
3. Opt for Natural and Original. A great work of art is not artificial and 100% your own idea. A great artist or photographer can derive original concepts with limited time and resources. Even a single picture can move you to tears, make you laugh, or can bring about outrage. A natural and original work affects a viewer, it brings out emotions.
4. Take Care of your Gadgets. Consider your camera as a part of your body. Store them in a cool, dry place. Other gadgets must not be taken for granted too. The camera stand, light stands, bulbs, reflectors, lenses, and many others should be well cared too. They must be kept out of debris.
5. Love your Work. This is the most important tip of all. In order for people to love your work, you must be the first one to love it. You must be your own number one fan. Considering photography or learn photography as a passion and not as a work helps too.
